Automations and modes

Each Morphic automation has its own level of control. Start everything in Copilot, then move individual routines to Autopilot once you trust them.

Modes

Manual, Copilot, and Autopilot

What each automation mode means
ModeWhat Morph does
ManualFinds and shows the opportunity or work; you act yourself.
CopilotPrepares the exact action; it happens only after you approve.
AutopilotCarries out eligible routine actions without waiting, within that automation's limits. Anything outside them still comes to you.

Most automations start in Copilot. Choosing Autopilot asks you to confirm first.

Hosting automations

Every automation, its modes, and what it needs

The last column shows what needs Full management. New connections currently use Hosting assistant, so automations marked “Yes” can show suggestions but cannot change Airbnb yet.

Custom automations

Create your own automations with Morph

Click Create with assistant, or ask Morph directly, to create one-time, recurring, or event-triggered automations such as reminders. Each one shows its next run and can be paused or archived.

No scheduled guest messages

Custom automations cannot message guests. Keep Airbnb's scheduled messages for timed guest instructions.

FAQ

Automation questions

Is a guest-message mode the same as an automation mode?

They use the same three words but are set separately. Each guest conversation has its own reply mode, and each automation has its own mode. Changing one does not change the others.

Can a custom automation send messages to guests?

No. Custom automations can create reminders and, with Full management, calendar or price rules. Morph does not send scheduled messages to guests.

Why can't I choose Autopilot for some automations?

Automations that make consequential decisions, such as Turnover, booking requests, and Beta calendar or pricing rules, are limited to Manual and Copilot so a person approves each action.
